Expectations of You
1. Wear the uniform to all meetings and activities (even from games)
2. Be on time
3. No disruptive behavior (want to be here)
4. No electronics
5. Teamwork/Camaraderie
6. Set Example
7. Active participation: Strongly encouraged to attend most meetings, campouts – if it’s boring, challenge it
8. Senior scouts: JASM, Instructor, Troop Guide, OA (Scout Honor Society), High Adventure
9. Well-roundedness (more than just scouting)
10. Bring your Handbook
11. Teaching junior scouts (training during patrol periods)
12. Employ the Patrol Method to run the Troop
13. Run the Program: Scouting works best when youth are leaders

Expectations of Me
1. Fun
2. Approachable
3. Respectful
4. Trusted
5. Care about Your Development into Upstanding Young Men
6. Ensure Your Safety
7. Teach You How to Do Things for Yourself
8. Coach/Guide You, help you along the way but not do it for you
9. Give you tools to succeed
10. Understand the Scouting Program – its purpose
11. We will use these meetings to learn/advance – skill sessions
12. Set a Positive Example
13. I Like the Outdoors
14. Communicate well with Scouts & Adults (over communicate 3x)
15. Assist you with resources (scoutmaster bag of scouting references)
16. Live the Oath
17. Live the Law
18. Once we’re up & running, I want to do blue cards during the meeting (not before or after)
19. Obtain blue cards for Eagle-required badges from me; others ASMs
